CCELL Hardware Glossary
Heating Technology The complete heating assembly inside a cartridge or AIO — includes the coil, wick, and housing. Every CCELL device uses a ceramic-core atomizer. A porous ceramic cylinder that replaces traditional cotton or silica wicks. Absorbs thick oil rapidly, eliminates dry hits, and reduces harmful byproducts (aldehydes and ketones) by up to 57% compared to fiber wicks. The foundation of all CCELL hardware. Learn more CCELL’s most advanced platform. 100% cotton-free, postless design combining VeinMesh heating and the Stomata Core. Handles viscosities from 700,000 to 6,000,000 cP. Learn more A biomimetic heating element modeled on leaf capillary networks. Spreads heat across a wide branching pattern instead of concentrating it on a single wire, achieving atomization at temperatures up to 30% lower than standard coils. Preserves fragile terpene profiles. Learn more A 3D ceramic matrix with 10x more intake pores than standard ceramics. Named after the microscopic pores on plant leaves. Reduces leak and clog rates by 50% and transports high-viscosity oil evenly to the heating element. Learn more CCELL’s standard ceramic heating coil used in the Easy/SE cartridge and AIO lineup. Reliable, cost-effective performance optimized for distillate programs. Learn more CCELL’s advanced coil for premium applications. Superior vapor quality and oil efficiency across a wide viscosity range, supporting distillates, live resin, and live rosin. Learn more CCELL’s high-end coil designed for live resin and live rosin extracts. Optimized for terpene preservation at controlled temperatures. Learn more

Hardware Types The universal battery connection standard in vaporization. The name refers to the physical geometry: 10 threads at 0.5mm pitch. All CCELL cartridges use 510 threading. Shop cartridges A modular 510-threaded tank containing the oil reservoir and heating element. Attaches to any compatible battery. Available in glass (TH2) and polycarbonate (M6T) body types, in 0.5ml and 1.0ml capacities. Shop cartridges A sealed device that permanently houses the battery, oil tank, and heating coil in one unit. Requires zero setup. Most are draw-activated and USB-C rechargeable. Sold as disposables in 0.3ml to 2.0ml capacities. Shop disposables A modular device using proprietary magnetic or snap-fit pods instead of 510 threads. The rechargeable battery base pairs with replaceable pods containing the oil and coil. Creates a closed brand ecosystem. Includes CCELL Uno, Dart, Luster, and Bellos. Shop pod systems A tank design that removes the central metal post (chimney) running through the oil reservoir. Provides a clear 360-degree view of the extract, simplifies high-speed automated filling, eliminates flavor contamination from metal contact, and reduces clogging. Used in CCELL 3.0 and select EVO MAX products. The rechargeable lithium-ion power unit that connects to a 510 cartridge. Supplies the voltage and wattage to heat the coil. CCELL batteries include the Palm, Silo, and M3B. Shop batteries A device that uses an internal air-pressure sensor to automatically heat the coil when the user inhales. No button required. Standard on most CCELL AIO disposables. A threaded 510 stopper used in multi-port devices to block unused ports and maintain proper airflow pressure.

Closure Systems The classic closure. Mouthpiece threads onto the reservoir with multiple rotations. Slower to assemble at scale but allows refilling and reuse. Best for refillable cartridge programs. A flexible interlocking closure that clicks into place with light downward pressure. Caps 50 units per press cycle using the CCELL Arbor Press. Reduces assembly time 30-40% vs threaded closures. Single-use only. Learn more The tightest seal available. Components are forced together under extreme friction — requires heavy mechanical tooling (arbor press or pneumatic machine). Lowest leak rate in the industry. Cannot be removed without destroying the unit. Single-use only. A tamper-proof mouthpiece sealed via press-fit or snap-fit that cannot be removed without breaking the device. Required by regulation in many legal cannabis markets.

Materials Borosilicate glass tank. Premium feel, best oil visibility, and maximum chemical inertness. The standard for brands prioritizing aesthetics and purity. Available in 0.5ml and 1.0ml. Shop glass cartridges Lightweight, shatter-resistant plastic tank. More durable than glass for shipping and handling. Same heating performance. Preferred for high-volume programs where breakage is a concern. Shop poly cartridges A full-ceramic exterior housing. Offers the highest chemical purity and a premium tactile feel. Available in the CCELL Ceramic EVO MAX lineup. Shop ceramic cartridges Heat-resistant borosilicate glass used in clearomizer-style tanks. Allows visual monitoring of oil levels and resists thermal stress.

Oil Types A refined, high-purity cannabis extract (typically 85-95% THC). Terpenes are stripped during processing and often re-added. The most common oil type in wholesale vape hardware. Works with all CCELL coils. Learn more Extract made from fresh-frozen cannabis, preserving the full terpene profile. Richer flavor and aroma than distillate. Requires hardware with controlled low-temperature heating (EVO MAX, HeRo, or 3.0). Learn more A solventless extract produced using heat and pressure only — no chemical solvents. The premium tier of cannabis concentrates. Extremely thick viscosity requires advanced hardware (EVO MAX, HeRo, or 3.0). Learn more THCA crystals dissolved into a terpene-rich sauce. Ultra-high potency with full-spectrum flavor. Very high viscosity. Best paired with CCELL 3.0 or EVO MAX hardware. Learn more
